Online Store Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

The products in the online store are sold by Mikkonen Ira Sofia Tmi (Business ID: FI31246775). We sell merchandise to private individuals in Finland and other EU countries specified in the shopping cart. Minors must have the consent of a guardian to place an order.

All products in the online store are made-to-order items, manufactured after the order is placed according to a print-on-demand model. We do not maintain our own stock.

Product prices include VAT (25.5%). Prices do not include shipping costs unless otherwise stated on the product page or in connection with a campaign. Shipping costs vary depending on the delivery method and country; these are clearly indicated in the shopping cart before order confirmation and payment. We reserve the right to change prices and shipping costs for future orders.

2. Ordering

Products are ordered online via the store at www.iravirallinen.fi.

All orders are confirmed via email. The confirmation indicates the price of the order, shipping costs, and the ordered products. Receiving an order confirmation requires providing an email address at the time of ordering.

The customer agrees to the delivery terms valid at the time of each order.

2.1 Canceling or Changing an Order Before Delivery

The consumer has the right to cancel the order before the product is delivered. We ask that you notify us of the cancellation immediately via email at ira(a)iravirallinen.fi.

Because all products are individually made-to-order, production begins shortly after the order is placed. If the product has already entered the manufacturing process and cannot be stopped, the seller has the right, under the Consumer Protection Act, to charge the consumer for the direct and actual costs incurred from the cancellation (e.g., production costs).

If the order has not yet moved to production, cancellation and potential changes can usually be made free of charge.

2.2 Out of Stock Products

If the production of the item you ordered is discontinued for any reason, we will offer an alternative product or refund your money.

3. Payment Methods

Products and their potential shipping costs are paid in connection with the order, regardless of the delivery method. In the online store, you can pay via card payment (Mollie) or bank transfer. We do not ship products via cash on delivery.

Payment methods are presented in the order required by the Consumer Protection Act: first, payment methods that do not include credit; next, payment methods that may include credit; and finally, payment methods that include credit. The payment method is not pre-selected—the consumer must choose the payment method themselves for each contract.

3.1 Card Payment

In our online store, you can pay with the following cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, and American Express.

Mollie acts as the payment intermediation service and payment service provider. For card payments, Mollie appears as the payee on the card statement and forwards the payment to the merchant. By using the payment service, you also accept Mollie's terms of service.

3.2 Bank Transfer

The order can also be paid via bank transfer. Payments are directed to the account FI37 3939 0062 8021 11, Mikkonen Ira Sofia Tmi, SBANFIHH, in accordance with the details on the order confirmation. Please always use the reference number when paying. We will process the order as soon as the total amount is visible in our account. The delivery time is calculated starting from this date. When paying from banks other than S-Pankki, please note a potential banking delay of 1–3 days. If the product has not been paid for within 7 days, the order will be cancelled automatically.

4. Delivery Time

All products in the online store are made-to-order items manufactured after the order is placed. We do not maintain our own stock.

The estimated total delivery time from the start of production to the customer is typically 14–21 business days from the payment of the order. The delivery time estimate is based on estimates provided by the product manufacturer (Printful) and the shipping carriers. We strive to state product-specific estimates as accurately as possible.

We will inform you separately on the online store's pages regarding exceptional delivery times (e.g., during peak seasons). The seller is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or delays caused by the shipping company that the seller could not reasonably influence.

5. Delivery Method

Products are delivered directly to the customer via our print-on-demand partner (Printful). Most deliveries include a tracking code that allows you to follow the progress of the shipment. In some cases, a tracking code is not available, but you can always inquire about the progress of your order via email at ira(a)iravirallinen.fi.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Return Policy

6.1. Right of Withdrawal (14 days)

The consumer has the right, under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, to cancel a distance selling contract within 14 days of receiving the product without providing a specific reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the consumer or a third party indicated by the consumer (other than the carrier) has physically acquired the goods.

Exercising the Right of Withdrawal:

  1. Notify us of your intent to withdraw: You must inform us of your decision to cancel the contract in an unequivocal manner (e.g., via email to ira(a)iravirallinen.fi) before the withdrawal period expires.
  2. Request return instructions: Do not send returns to our postal address. Contact us first via email at ira(a)iravirallinen.fi to receive return instructions and the correct return address. The return address differs from our official postal address for logistical reasons.
  3. Return the product: Return the product according to the instructions received without delay and no later than 14 days after making the withdrawal notification. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
  4. Return costs: The customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods (e.g., postal fees). We will inform you of the estimated return costs in our email response.
  5. Condition of the product: The consumer has the right to inspect and try the product in a manner corresponding to what they could do in a physical store. If the product has been handled more than is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, the customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods.

Refund of Payment:

We will refund all payments received from you (excluding return costs) without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 6, Section 16), the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products manufactured according to the consumer's specific specifications or clearly personalized (Note: Standard made-to-order products where size, color, or model is selected from our selection do not fall under this exception).
  • Sealed delivered goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (e.g., underwear, face masks).
  • Sealed audio or video recordings or computer software which were unsealed after delivery.

6.2. Exchanges

Exchanges (e.g., wrong size) are processed as a return and a new order. First, contact us via email at ira(a)iravirallinen.fi to get return instructions, return the product according to the instructions received, and place a new order for the product you want.

6.3. Complaints (Liability for Defects)

The seller has a statutory liability for defects in sold products. This means we are responsible for defects (e.g., manufacturing defects or the product does not correspond to what was ordered) that existed in the product at the time of delivery.

If you notice a defect in the product, contact us immediately via email at ira(a)iravirallinen.fi. Attach a picture or a clear description of the defect to the message. Do not send complaints directly to our postal address—wait for instructions and the return address in our email response.

A notice of defect (complaint) must be made to the seller within a reasonable time after the consumer noticed or should have noticed the defect. The notice is always considered to have been made within a reasonable time if it is made within two (2) months of noticing the defect.

In the event of a defect, the seller primarily has the right to rectify the error by repairing the product or replacing it with a new, defect-free product within a reasonable time. If rectification is not possible or is not performed, the consumer has the right to a price reduction or cancellation of the sale, depending on the significance of the defect. In connection with a statutory complaint, the seller is responsible for all costs incurred from the rectification, including return costs.

6.4. Issues During Transport

If the product has been lost during transport, damaged in transport, or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer must report the error immediately to ira(a)iravirallinen.fi. If the package is damaged during transport, a complaint must also be made immediately to the shipping company.

7. Privacy and Processing of Personal Data

Mikkonen Ira Sofia Tmi processes all customer data with complete confidentiality in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We commit not to disclose customer data to third parties other than in cases required for processing the order.

Information necessary for the delivery and production of the order (name, address, order details) is transferred to our trusted partners, which are:

  • Payment service provider (Mollie)
  • Product manufacturer and supplier (POD partner Printful)
  • Shipping company (delivery provider)

We collect and process only the information necessary for processing and delivering the order. The customer has the right to request the inspection, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting ira(a)iravirallinen.fi.

8. Dispute Resolution

In possible dispute situations, we recommend contacting our customer service at ira(a)iravirallinen.fi first. We strive to resolve all situations constructively.

Consumers have the right to refer a consumer dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). A consumer may also file a complaint with the consumer protection authority of their country of residence.

9. Applicable Law

These terms and the trades made based on them are governed by Finnish law. Any disagreements will primarily be resolved through negotiation. Consumer contracts are governed by the Consumer Protection Act and other mandatory consumer protection legislation.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. The customer must familiarize themselves with the currently valid terms of delivery before placing an order. By placing an order in the online store, you confirm your acceptance of these valid terms.
